Hello

Planning to buy 1 more 1080 strix.
I will also order an ROG sli bridge.

I have an R5E board.

I almost bought the 2 way because 2 way 😛 But i think i need the 3 way bridge Because i will use the 1st and the 3rd slot. Right ?

Thanks..

Now i read Asus is bringing a new bridge. This one is HB.
To be honest i like the enthusiast 3 way version more.
But will there be any performance difference between the two?

Thanks

If you have Pascal cards you need HB bridge, all HB bridges are 2 way only but with different spacing so make sure to research and order the correct bridge for the spacing of your cards

Some LED type bridges such as EVGA/MSI also work fine as they have electrical contacts on both sides of the port on the bridge, I don't have an ASUS LED bridge so I cannot verify if they work or not.

Also you can purchase a 3D printed cover for a standard ASUS HB bridge https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?85505-Make-it-your-own-The-ASUS-3D-Printing-Project

Thanks guys,

I bought the one from Zotac.
Nice, clean design. A bit of mat black paint and a ROG sticker to match it my system.
