Which is the better memory kit upgrade?

Hi guys, I built my PC a couple of months ago. I originally ordered a intel 9900k but then changed my mind and went for the 9800x instead. I also re-ordered the motherboard to a x299, and kept my dual channel memory as I hoped there'd be no difference between dual and quad channel. Now when I've done benchmarks the results say how my memory is classed as just average for its spec, while everything else in my PC is beyond awesome.

This is my mobo manual:
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2066/ROG_STRIX_X299-E_GAMING/E13191_ROG_STRIX_X299-E_GAMING...

and my memory kit:

I've been wondering how best to upgrade to quad channel. Should I just get another dual channel kit and let the BIOS auto configure itself to quad channel with what I have right now, but I'd then have 64GB RAM which I kind of doubt I'll ever use more than 32GB.

Or should I get this 32GB quad kit and sell my 32GB dual kit?

Any other advice welcome, thanks in advance.

Definitely the latter 🙂

Interesting!
Thanks, ordering the quad kit now then 😉

Nice one!

I have a similar kit...they OC well and/or tighten timings if you play about with them...assuming G.Skill are still using similar ICs

Quad channel memory was delivered this morning. Memory benchmarks are now better though I'm only a noob OCer so I could have been pushing my 9800x to its unhealthy extreme for all I know. Anyway here's my results:
