They did recently change the warrenty policy, seems all the cards now have a 3 year warranty, but if you register it you can pa a small fee to extend it to either a 5 or 10 year warranty, further more you can also sell the card, and the next person gets the benefit of being able to rma the card if it's still under warranty. I almost bought the 580 matrix but the being 3 a 3 slot card killed it for me, plus the fact when i got my 580 that the 680's would be out shortyl after, so i got the plain jane 580, then used the evga step up to get the 680,
😄 39 bucks including shipping to get my 580 there :D. only down side to that was waiting 4 and a 1/2 months for the step up queue lol. I do believe my next card will for sure be of the ROG variety. With the experience i've had with my CHVF I"m thinking yes you can't go wrong with ROG
