Which GFX Brand To Go For?

Hey guys.

So i've always been a big fan of Asus GFX cards, but i've recently bumped into the fact that they are generally more expensive than some of the other cards out there.
I'm planning on watercooling them so the direct CU II are not really that appealing to me at this point. I'm considering either the 660TI in sli or perhaps the 670 in sli. I've pretty much made up my mind that a single card doesn't perform that well in tests over a sli setup, even when comparing the cost over performance. Also i've always wanted to go for the sli option, so thats close to being set in stone.

This being said, i dont have ANY experience with any other manufacturers, and i just want to know, are Asus worth the extra few $ per card?
And im truely sorry if this offends anyone or if it's off-topic.

Im running with:
Asus ROG Formula IV
Intel i7 3820
Corsair 16GB Quad channel 2133 mhz
CM 850w Silent Pro Silver

Kind regards
- Chris

For Nvidia, I like EVGA, for their lifetime warranty (on selected SKUs) when registered within 30 days from purchase. And if they haven't updated their warranty policy yet, then I've remember saying, you're allow to change to a 3rd party cooler, etc. When you need to RMA, just remember to configure it back to its factory condition and there cannot be any physical damages.

They did recently change the warrenty policy, seems all the cards now have a 3 year warranty, but if you register it you can pa a small fee to extend it to either a 5 or 10 year warranty, further more you can also sell the card, and the next person gets the benefit of being able to rma the card if it's still under warranty. I almost bought the 580 matrix but the being 3 a 3 slot card killed it for me, plus the fact when i got my 580 that the 680's would be out shortyl after, so i got the plain jane 580, then used the evga step up to get the 680, 😄 39 bucks including shipping to get my 580 there :D. only down side to that was waiting 4 and a 1/2 months for the step up queue lol. I do believe my next card will for sure be of the ROG variety. With the experience i've had with my CHVF I"m thinking yes you can't go wrong with ROG 😄

xfx gave me lifetime warr. on my ati cards if I registered the product with-in 30 days. Changing paste/fan does not void xfx warranty

my 580 had a lifetime, i could change the TIM and cooler if i anted, would just have to change it back if i wanted to RMA it, but meh my 680 only has a 3 year. EVga cards are even covered if you OC them and kill it 😄
