get yourself a 4090, you can snag them up at half the price of new and some could be less than 1 year old. 24gb vram will last you a good 10+ years for triple a games

Cpu: Amd 9800x3d/ Gpu: Rog Strix 4080 super oc / Ram: Kingston Fury Beast 6000 cl30 64GB/ SSD: Samsung 9100 pro 4TB and Samsung 980 pro 2TB / Mobo: Rog strix x870F/ Psu: Rog strix 1000p / Case: Jonsbo D41 mesh screen with Arctic P12 max fans / AIO: Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 360 pro with Thermal Grizzly Duronaut

What are you trying to do with your machine or GPU? If you play games the recommendation from nemen is great i.e. get a used RTX 4090. If you do video encoding then a RTX 5070 or higher is better since it has the latest H.265 encoder/decoders in it. If you do 3D modeling work then RTX 5090 with its 32GB VRAM is the way to go.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, i was thinking the 5070 as im into Unreal Engine which hits hard.
32G is a bit over the top for me in use and price.

Hello 2DNED

An RTX 5070 is a great choice.

The RTX 5000 series supports multi frame gen x4, this gives a huge performance increase in supported games.

The ASUS Prime RTX 5070 has 12GB of Vram.

I ended up getting the RTX 5070TI Eagle 16G
wow, what a difference for me going from a 2070 (8G) to a 5070 (16G)

Thanks,
