What BIOS settings for DIMM.2 Instillation in a Maximus XII motherboard

I cannot find in the manual what are the changes in the BIOS configuration to activate the DIMM.2 module on the motherboard.

The manual says the DIMM.2  is disabled by default and just says "please adjust BIOS to enable DIMM.2  slots -- no help!

Help please. I have spent hours on this.

In would even settle to use the M.2 PCIe Gen 3  SSD slot. What would be the BIOS changes to utilize that one.

The manual really doesn’t explain it well. Go into the BIOS and check under Advanced > Onboard Devices Configuration or Storage Configuration — you should see an option to Enable DIMM.2. Just enable it and save. If you don’t see the option, you might need to update your BIOS first.
