Hello Wildboy

Nice psu you upgraded to there!

Since you don't have much experience in water cooling I will suggest you do a lot of research on it before attempting it. There are a lot of options and configurations you can choose from and custom loops can get very expensive.

Youtube has a lot of helpful videos of liquid cooled pc's and how to install liquid cooling hardware.

You could also just get something like the corsair H100i if your case supports it. You will only be cooling your cpu but you will save a lot of money.

Research it well and watch youtube.

Frozencpu.com has everything you could ever want in liquid cooling a pc.

Hey Nate,

Thanks for the prompt response and the vital info provided. Frozencpu.com seems to have loads of products. Do you think its a must to
water cool my GPU ( Waiting for the release of GTA V ) if I will be playing in high settings?? or the stock cooling fan will do the job??

The stock fan on your gpu will be fine as NVidia has the voltage locked and you can only go so far with it. Your gpu will not overheat unless you have poor airflow in your case.

Your cpu (4790k) on the other hand would be worth to liquid cool because you can adjust the voltage. The better your cooling the further you will be able to overclock it. The temperature controls how far you can overclock.

my current cooling is ;Antec Kuhler h20 620... The one you proposed has two fans.. You reckon it demands an upgrade? or the current on
will do the job?

If you have the antec kuhler 620 you could use that and see how well it cools the 4790k, I think it should do pretty well.

Thanks !!!! Will be getting the Mobo and Cpu on Wednesday next week. Ill use the ROG RealBench to test for stability (Stock settings with XMP)
Bought an additional G.Skill RipJawsx PC3-12800 1600 Mhz (4*2) GB kit 16gb in all.
Am currently reading a lot about cpu and ram overclocking ( Getting confused sometimes). Do you think ill be able to push my RAM over 1600 Mhz?

In all honesty you should have just gone with a faster ram kit. An 8Gb or 16GB kit such as this.

http://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-F3-2400C10D-8GTX-PC3-19200-TridentX-10-12-12-31/dp/B007V9RXFI

You don't want to mix and match ram kits, they may not work well together even though they are the exact same specs. But then again they might, you just never know.
