Water cool Maximus Formula VI Help Questions

Ok..... I just bought the Maximus Formula VI and want to water cool it. My last build I used a Corsair H100 push/pull config. But I want to use the Cross Chill...... I have been doing some research and there seems to be some conflicting responses to the area of the Cross Chill being made of aluminum. Asus says that it's is safe to mix metals due to there ROG’s CrossChill anodizing. But all it would take is one scratch during production and that anodizing would cause corrosion.....

So I wanted to get some response or help being this would be my first real Water Cooled Loop setup. I was looking at this Kit EK-KIT H3O 360 HFX . I also wanted to know about the coolant. Because of the galvanic corrosion issues. I was looking at this Ekoolant Blood RED or should I go with just clear an d colored tubing because some people suggest not to use dyes. Basically i just dropped $650.00 on the Formula VI MB and the Intel Core i7-4770K CPU and don't want to mess up my board using the wrong parts and equipment. Any and all suggestion with Water Cooling Kits and other, with this would be so much appreciated...... TIA

Don't get kits. Always configure your own solution. EK has great products, and so does XSPC. If you want to use EK, go to coolingconfigurator.com to find the right waterblock you want for your CPU. And (in advance) you should use flexible tubing for your first setup, as they are much easier to configure than solid tubing. Colored tubing is a great choice, but keep in mind with dyes you can mix to get your favorite color. I know little about dyes, but what everybody told me was that they wash out really fast.

what are you going to put under water??

Just the cross Chill and CPU.... I have been looking into the the compression fittings and did plan on going in that direction. I was also looking at this water block kit

well i had in my last setup and well lets say when i changed to clear coolant, there was a few drops left of it in the loop even after i did a flush of the rads.
so it colored the coolant to a faint red color.
and i used the one you listed.
and the tubing did go disfuze clear sorta.
and UV coolant? forget it dont work ( did not whit me ) tubing blocks most of the uv light.
i would say use colored tubing. if uv use uv tubing.

i had a leak and it was on my NB and the clamp that did hold the tube in place sliped off and i lost a good deal of coolant over time.
whit no shortening gladly.
if it was there or the rad i changed om not shure but as of now i dont have a leak ( cant smell enny coolant so far ).

if you want to switch out the NB is up to you. it dont produce mutch heat so to say. unless your doing real high oc and put loads of volt on it.

Thanks for your suggestion.... may I will just stay with the cross chill and CPU under water and not worry about the NB.
