With all the melting reports, I'm looking to replace the standard adapter that ships with the 4090 with a direct cable from my corsair PSU using this product:

From my research it seems the direct cable is far more robust than the spaghetti default connector, but I would like to know if I am still protected under warranty should anything untoward happens.
