Using my GTX1080Ti's onboard fan and LED pins

I'm upgading my case fans. I'll be putting two RGB 140s in the roof of my Carbide Air 740 and moving the two regular Corsair AF140s that are there to the floor, where I want to hook them up to my GPU. I believe I can do that. Let me know if I can't.

The GPU also has an independent RGB header.
What RGB strips would you recommend for this header? Are there any you would advise against.

Thanks.

Amazed by the response here. No sweat. I have one (for now) Corsair AF140 with a Phantex 140 HALO LUX mounted underneath my GP and both are powered by the GPU's headers, freeing up the MOBO. I thoroughly recommend Phantex HALO frames as a way to have RGB goodness without sacrificing performance.
