Upgrading RAM- Stability Issues

I was attempting to add 32 gigs of Corsair Vengeance RAM to my OG STRIX Z790-A for a total of 4 x 16 gigs but I had serious stability issues and multiple failures during a memtest86 run. I had XMP enabled. Should I try again without XMP and see if its stable?

I was reading that some motherboards cant handle quad channels at certain speeds.

Hello mdawe

Don't combine memory kits.

Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits even of the same specs will result in stability issues or system failure.
