Have an X570 Crosshair Hero VIII mainboard that was using a Sabrent 256GB NVME in the M_1 slot for my OS drive and a second Sabrent 500GB NVME in the 2_2 slot for storage. The 256GB drive got down to 35% life so I decided to replace it. I cloned the 256GB drive to the 500GB that was in the M_2 slot to use that for OS and put it in the M_1 slot and it booted fine, so I decided to get another NVME for the 2nd slot that was now empty and I bought a WD_Black SN850X 1TB NVME. When I put in the 2nd NVME, the NVME drive in the M_1 slot disappears from BIOS and I have no drive to boot OS from(even tried booting AOMEI and several other partition tools from USB, drive does not appear), so I pulled the 2_2 drive and the 2_1 drive reappears. So I then tried going back to original configuration.. the 256GB back in 2_1 and the 500GB in 2_2.. same issue, only one drive will now appear when both M2 slots are populated. The only thing Ive changed is updated my BIOS to 5302 from 5201. Ive tried setting mainboard back to Defaults, enabling/disabling Secure Boot and CSM.. no luck. Anyone have any clue what is causing this that I cannot get both drives to appear when both slots are populated all of a sudden ?
