So im using a Kingston Alpha headset which has 2 3.5mm jack connectors. 1 for the microphone and the other for headphone. On my previous motherboard Gigabyte Z68XPUD3 from 2011 lol, i was able to select any rear/front jack and retask it to what i want.
Recently got the Asus X870-PLUS and i've connected my headset to Mic In which works fine but for the headphone audio if i connect it to the blue rear jack ( line in ) i have limited options to retask it - only line in and side speaker out ( second screenshot ). I can connect it to the rear green jack which works but im also using 5.1 speakers which it needs to be connected here. the first screeshot is the options i have if i choose to retask the green rear port
I just would like the to have the option to change the line-in jack to somthing else.
