Hi I am trying to install a IBM Lenovo N2215 / LSI SAS9302-8i PCI-E 12Gb/s SAS Controller in my system

My system is
Motherboard. VI formula
Cpu. I7 4770K
Ram. Corsair ddr 3 2133 MHz 32 gb
Graphics. 2x Nvidia 780
Whenever i install the sas card in my system it does not post,
it does not show any bios or anything,
i can see the the q-code shows 22 on my motherboard stops at Ram check, and my led is lit at ram,
tried to remove the 2 gfx to see if i can get a post screen but it does not, i could try to remove all of my ram dimm and leave 1 to check,
do you guys have any suggestions, or is the sas controller just incompatible with my system

go to the raidcontrollers page and see what it is compatible with.

i had to buy a server board for mine to get it to work.
so had i read the compatible manual i would not have had to buy a new pc for it to work.

Thanks for the answer
All i can see is that it support system X

I dont think that this controller support raid its just jbod sas controller

i would guess you need a server motherboard to get this card to work.
hence x79 ( 2011 socket ) and celeron CPU's are listed.
what info i can get is that you can not raid enny thing on it, so mainly independent drives i guess.
and my cable i had to get it from spain since they did not have it here where i live.
