I am planning on building a new desktop and to save a decent amount of money, I want to swap a processor. My current PC is the ROG G751JL, which has an i7. I also have an i5 from a previous PC that I want to swap, so I can use the i7 in the desktop and save a decent $350 on buying a new i7. All I want to know is if this is possible, not about the difficulty of doing it.
