Hi all,
I just built my new setup and I find myself stuck at the Q code 15. I've tried reseeding the CPU, trying the memory modules in all slots, clearing CMOS with a single stick on A2, unmounting the GPU to no avail. There's no output and stays in code 15. Any idea on how to proceed?
Specs:
Ryzen 7 9800x3D
ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO
2x48GB DDR-5 6400 G-Skill (F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RW)
GeForce RTX 3080 Super

Hi @Ishkar
Nice spec!
Q-Code 15 is a memory training code. Depending on the configuration, initial training can take up to 3 to 5 minutes. How long are you leaving it?

Thanks a lot, I did not expect it to take that long!

I Have the same Issue but my Aio/CPU fan won't boot before it doesn't advance further stages and I am scared to put the processor on 5rmin or longer without a working Cooler. I know when it advances the AIO will keep working but otherwise since it doesn't advance my AIO cooler won't spin the fans until it didn't advance the stage further. Should I try it still to keep it working for 5minutes or what would you suggest?
Thank you very much

Are you plugging the AIO fan control to the right pin? The one for the CPU fan/AiO I think is the top-right one. They should be spinning almost from the beginning. In any case, the computer will shutdown automatically if it reaches dangerous temperature, during my tests I used the CPU without any cooling at all, as I feared it could be making too much pressure, and it just shut down.

I dont know since I came from a Corsair 360 Aio cooler to the Lian li Galahad sorry if I write it wrong the non rib 360 one and it has been like this. When I put my hand over the AIo it's quite cold and I dont feel any hot temps. after 5min it jumped to code c5 and stuck there no clue. Thanks for your reply tho 🙂
