Strix X370-F Constant random Blackscreen

Hi, im new at the forum, but a long long time user of ASUS products.

Recently i switched my x370 Aorus, for a x370-F Strix. Below my problems, im really at the end of the rope here.

My build
Ryzen5 1600X
Corsair LED 3000mhz
ASUS x370-F Strix
Mydigitalssd NVMe BPX80 250 (with XPG cooler in M.2)
NZXT Kraken x52 AIO
Barracuda HDD 3TB
Aorus RX580 XTR
Thermaltake Smart GOLD 700W
keyboard corsair k70 lux
headphones corsair VOID pro (wired)

Installed the iCUE software and Aura from ASUS, i did not install the CAM software from NZXT. Windows version 10 pro, original.
Motherboard BIOS 4012 (latest), NVMe firmware 4.5 (latest), radeon drivers Adrenaline 18.5.6 (latest)

Everything was "OK" at first, manged to install in the NVMe without issues (contrary to my inital experience with the Gigabyte MB), and then managed "stable" overclock at 4ghz with 3000ghz ram and low temps. I say "stable" since right from the beggining i got random blackscreens, the GPU stops, screen goes black, but the rest of the components keep working. Im unable to reset or hard reset using Power button, at this point i need to shut down the PSU.

There are no minidumps created and after a couple of seconds off, i can restart normally, no errors at startup. When this happens i know temps are OK everywhere.
CPU around 50°c, GPU around 65°c, NVMe around 60°c.

I rolled back the overclock to stock, changed power settings in windows to ryzen mode, Hpet is disabled, CBS disabled, CPB disaled, GC-s Disabled, No bias, ErP disabled, core performance disabled, etc.

I also did an underclock in the GPU to make sure it wasnt the culprit.

there are no minidumps created since it doesnt generate a BSOD and event viewer only shows Critical kernel power issue (because im reseting in the PSU) and in the event viewer i have several stornvme 11 errors (The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort0) on this i can say that obviously in not on raid, so it has to be a problem with the windows native NVMe driver for the Phison7 controller.

On it being the GPU... up until last week i had no issues in the x370 Aorus K5.

Any advice or aditional ideas about my issue?

Best regards

Carlos

REMOVE iCUE! trust me, it is the cause!

install cue 2.4# the issue will go away.

if you still experience other blackscreen but much less frequent, uninstall hw monitoring tools like ai suite, if you can't, make sure your not using msi afterburner and other sortlike tools

http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=177304

see this thread, i also had this issue, don't use iCue 3.4 or any version 3, just use the classic cue2
