I have a bottleneck between the CPU & GPU that one or the other is waiting on the other one. The solution that was recommended was to use faster RAM. I multi-task daily usually running several programs or website loaded. Looking for advise on picking new RAM I currently have. I tried G.Skill tech support and they would only tell me what I already know from the memory finder tool.
One of the solutions I found was to get 3600+ RAM but it is almost impossible to find anything with a low CL. I know that I can install faster RAM and it will clock down to what the motherboard can handle but I don't understand how the CL timings work. high MHz, and low CL is best. I can only find 3600 in CL 16 & 18 and DDR4-4000 CL18, faster the MHz higher the CL.
I recently learned that I need a ratio of 1:1 for best performance. Any advise on what to get or where to find a good tutorial. Currently sitting at 1:16 😞
Also made sure I am running the latest drivers, BIOS is up to date.
