Hi everyone,
I just bought a new computer (https://estore.asus.com/de/90nr0921-m00b40-gx650rx.html), which comes with one SSD and the option to add a second one, but I’m not sure which ones are compatible. If I understood correctly, the maximum you can add is 2TB as 4TB are not recognised by the BIOS, but are there other things one needs to consider when adding a second SSD? Could someone tell me which brands/models are compatible with my new computer?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @mhaas3191 I would simply use the Freeware HWiNFO utility to see exact make and model number of the SSD currently in your laptop and go get the same brand and model as my starting point.

Thanks for the advice, I will probably try it out!
The computer hasn’t arrived yet, though, so I cannot try it out yet. That’s also why I was asking here - I wanted to order the second SSD together with the laptop so that both would arrive together and I could immediately install the device. Looks like I‘ll have to wait a bit longer though.

Got it. Sorry, I don't have this laptop and hence cannot help. Maybe someone else having this laptop or the ASUS Support Team here may be able to help you before your laptop arrives.
