Hey everyone,

just have a question about the topic motherboard, I have a AMD 9950X3D cpu and want to know about the PCI’e slots and m.2 configuration.

i have a rtx 4080 super and a crucial T705 gen 5 ssd.

I don’t want to sacrifice running my gpu at x8, but also want to run my ssd at gen 5 speeds

i also have a Samsung 990 pro 2tb and Lexar 4tb ssd’s

is the above possible with this move, any help or advice very much appreciated

Hi @PDG8888 

Yes, you can use M.2_1 for your primary GEN5 drive and M.2_4 and 5 for the others.

As slots 4 and 5 use chipset lanes, this will leave enough CPU lanes available for the GPU to run at full length.
