Rog strix z790-e motherbord temp problems

I have an intel i7 14700K cpu on this board. In the bios it says cpu temp at 72 degrees at idle. on coming out of bios and into windows the 2 led digit numbers on the board says the temp is 37 degrees and AI suite 111 says 34 degrees. Has anyone got any ideas why there is this temperature difference and will the bios temp make the cpu throttle back

For the simple reason the UEFI puts a slight load on the CPU. Check the CPU thermal performance in Cinebench R20 or other benchmarks to evaluate cooler performance.
