Hi all, hope you are having a great new year and safe from the virus. I have recently completed an ITX build with ROG Strix X570-I and Ryzen 5950x. Everything seems fine except the CPU performance is a bit below my expectation from what I have read here and here.
I am expecting all core load frequency between 3.85 - 4Ghz stock. However attachment shows I am only getting around 3.7Ghz all the time. All cores are the same around 3.7 boost up to 4.6-7Ghz.
CineBenchR20 score fluctuating around 9200-9500pts, which is similar to some 3950x. Expecting seeing score above 10K+ as I saw in many tests.
Similar issue is also highlighted by Optimum Tech in this video. He also mentioned other mobos don't have this issue. Just wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same here? any fixes? I am pretty confident there is plenty of temperature and power buffer available.
I saw there was a beta version of new BIOS a few days ago, but it's gone now. Not sure if new BIOS will fix it. I am currently on BIOS Version 3001 on 2020/12/08 . Any suggestion will be appreciated. Please see parts list below:
