I wonder if you could offer some advice or musings, I've already started the rma process, but I thought I'd post this here for comment, good or bad.
The following is my config.
Intel Ultra 9 285k
ROG Thor 1600W 80 plus Titanium
SKU MEM-GSK-01362
Updated to BIOS 2201.
Now, this is the second board. The first board I used for 3 months, which I rma'd, this board is the replacement and I've been using for 4 months, without issue.
Little backstory, on Sunday, I powered the machine on and played for a few hours (Darktide 👍).
After a couple games, I noticed my mouse's aura sync was really slow, choppy, which normally means there's an armoury crate update.
So, I go into armoury crate and there is an app update waiting. Updated the app and noticed that none of my devices are showing in the armoury crate aura sync, so, I reboot the machine - After it comes back up, I check armoury crate again and still no devices showing, so I figured, Oki, I'll do a hard rest and see if that makes a difference.
Powered off the PSU, held the power button for 10 secs, powered on the PSU and since then nothing.
Standby power is getting to the mobo as the oled screen is on, as is the aio oled.
Using either case power or the start button on the board itself shows no signs of life.
I removed one ram stick, keeping one in the recommended slot (B1), still nothing, removed the GPU, still nothing, cleared CMOS, switched to bios 2, nothing, also did a usb bios flashback as a last resort, and I still get no signs of life. No fan spin, no qled indicators, no POST, nothing.
This behaviour is very similar to the first board I sent back.
Posting here to see if anyone has any ideas on what this could be. Happy to provide more information.
