Hi all,
In order to upgrade to W11, I need to enable the Secure Boot mode.
I just updated the BIOS to the latest version.
I've been able to activate TPM, but I can't find the proper BIOS settings to enable the Secure Boot mode.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi @achugh ,
The reason why I wasn't able to enable Secure Boot, despite proper parameters setup in the BIOS menu, was that my system disk partition was MBR and not GPT.
Following your advice, I converted my system disk partition from MBR to GPT using the mbr2gpt.exe command and the offline method described in the link below.
It worked like a charm, and as a consequence, Secure Boot is now enabled.
Thanks again !!!

Hi @Kageneck , please try to set your Launch CSM to DISABLED. Then try to use Windows 11 Installation Media that is meant for UEFI with GPT support. In this approach, you will be doing a fresh Windows 11 installation which is recommended.
If you want to continue doing a Windows upgrade, change this BIOS configuration then follow your upgrade as you intended.
In order to help with any troubleshooting issues, a fresh installation will be preferred.
I hope this information helps you move forward.

Hi @achugh , thank you for the reply.
I checked the process for installing Windows 11 With Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool (see link below).
https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-install-windows-11-with-microsofts-media-creation-tool
It seems it still requires the PC to be W11 ready, which includes the Secure Boot enabled (my problem !!!).
I'll give it a try though, and I'll get back to you.
It might take me some time, as I'm not especially tech-savvy and I need to take some precautions before proceeding ... 😉
Many thanks !!!
