I got this laptop in about may of this year and it was running fine I was getting about 120 frames in performance mode in siege, then I showed the laptop to a friend and he realized that I had no nvidia driver installed so I installed the latest one when I ran seige again I was getting 70 frames max in turbo mode, I then spent an hour troubleshooting and doing a bunch of performance setting and I had no change, I then went on allllllll asus services and serched for updated and there were none.
Then I tried installing 3 different versions of nvidia drivers and nothing got fixed. FINALLY i tried reinstalling the latest nvidia driver I then had 160 frames + in performance mode and the very next day i was down to 70. keep in mind my laptop is not hot so i dont think its overheating. What do I even do,
does the manufactuer warranty cover whats happening or does someone know some secert setting
