Re-sleeving

Venturing further into my build, and want to start to do some re-sleeving. Doing the actual physical re-sleeving isn't a problem, it's buying the materials.

For anyone who has re-sleeved; have you done an individual wire re-sleeve, or two wires per sleeve? I'm unsure which diameter sleeving to use. I'm looking to achieve the "individual wire" look.

And I know this next question may sound stupid, but I've never re-sleeved, is it best to apply heat to the heat shrink all at once, say on the main power cable or individually as you sleeve? (I.E. you have 24 wires and you're sleeving 2 wires per sleeve, meaning you would have 12 pieces of heat shrink at the connection.)

Not only is it hard to get the pins removed, it's also very time consuming. My last one I just got off frozencpu not spending the better part of a week doing that again..
