RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 - Do I need 40 Lane CPU.

I just bought RVE10. I have 2x TITANX and looking to install 2x SAMSUNG 961NVMe in RAID0. Do I need 40 Lane CPU. Also where do I install the second SSD. Which PCIE adapter should I use? Thanks.

Very nice hardware but you need to read about the platform capabilities and the motherboard options, you cannot setup 2 nvme drives in raid on the X99 platform, at least for the OS, maybe using as a software raid for storage but not as the main drive, the platform does not support it.
I would suggest a 40 lane CPU with multiple GPU's and a single nvme drive is extremely fast without the issues that sometimes are associated with a raid array

You can setup the software RAID in Windows without any additional tools. But as Menthol has mentioned, it will not be bootable.

A bootable NVMe M.2 SSD RAID 0 array is possible on the Z170 platform. It cannot be done on the X99 platform.
