Ram and cpu cooler advise needed for new MAXIMUS VI HERO build

Hi, I am planning my new build around a MAXIMUS VI HERO / i7 4770k but undecided on the ram, Would the corsair vengeance pro be a good choice, I was thinking of this kit: 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 DRAM 2133MHz C9 Memory Kit (CMY8GX3M2B2133C9R), Are there any compatibility issues I need to be aware of? , I would also like to use my Prolimatech Megahalems cpu cooler from my old i7 920 build with this board so are there any clearance and mounting issues I need to be aware of

Great Cooler one of my all time favorites. Good choice of memory the Pro kits are very nice.

As to clearance you should be able to see what the hight of the ram is via the product page.

My idea of using the Prolimatech Megahalems cpu cooler has run into trouble, I need a different retention bracket as mine is only good for 775/1366, I need the Socket 1156 adapter kit (It also works on the 1150) , Trouble is I can't find anyone that stocks it in the UK

You cooler came with the bracket I kid you not. I have one. Do you have the rev b or rev c model.

Panic over, I just got the box out of the loft, It's a Rev B so compatible with 1155/1156 so same fitment as 1150
