question about ASUS ROG Azoth

hello i have a few question about the expensive  ASUS ROG Azoth

can this keyboard  save the lightning setting on the board?  

and by this i mean that if you close/uninstall the software you won't get reverted and stuck to the basics profile lighting.

same question but the OLED display. 

can you still maintain THE custom GIF you uploaded and just close/uninstall or you get reverted to the default asus one?

btw, i returned a rog fachion back 1 year ago  because YOU maybe Asus are not aware that in the

ISO ITALIAN LAYOUT  the keycaps are dog******. something is wrong in your abs fabric.

and they are NOT IN PBT like amazon pretend to say.  

only reason i'm giving another shot is cuz at least in this one you can mod.

falchion has non standard key size like the spacebar and was a long term "trap"

I would recommend using Armoury Crate for full customization of your ROG Azoth. 

You can save up to five lighting profiles, then access them with the Fn + 1,2,3,4,5 keys.

Once you have your keyboard configured with lighting profiles and a gif, you can close Armoury Crate. Armoury Crate will keep your settings without having to open it, even on restarts.

You're going to love the ROG Azoth.

After installing Armoury Crate, you'll get some updates at the update center.

To update your ROG Azoth:

1) Connect the cable to your ROG Azoth and a pc usb port.

2) Set the wireless switch on the ROG Azoth to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

3) Connect the wireless dongle/receiver to a pc usb port.

4) Try the update in Armoury Crate.

Here is the Armoury Crate download, install version 3.2.7.2 (first download), then head to the update center.

Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)

Once installed open Armoury Crate, click Settings at the bottom left, click the Update Center tab, then click check for updates.

In your last screenshot, Armoury Crate is updating to a new version.

How is it going after the updates?

ok so tested a few stuff..  and i can confirm that plugging the keyboard in another pc that has no software 

don't revert things back to default profile.   Custom gif and light stay.   Nice.

i wanted to have the Printscreen button in one key and not pressing FN and the only way to remap the key was to create a macro apparently?  weird and complicated "work around" for a simple user need.

but is working.  everything seem to work.

i won't make more comment on the software experience.  razer,steelseries,asus  i hate all of you.

i hope one day we can do these stuff just from a web page like the wooting keyboard.

as last feedback:  like i expected the keycaps in the other layout that are not US 

are not that good and i will sure replace them. 

The OLED control knob stuff looks fragile and woobly  i would have prefer something not plastic like

max brightness is not that high lets see if i can get a bit more with pudding keycaps.

overall not perfect for the price..  but i consider this post solved and all "ok"

Good to hear all is working and is saving your settings.

I tried remapping the print screen key to another key and unfortunately, this doesn't look possible. Making a macro as you've done looks to be the only way.
