Quad 7970 Watercooling

I am looking to water-cool my quad crossfire HD 7970 set up. Id like to watercool the GPUs and the CPU.

I would like to use these water blocks for the GPUs http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16056/ex-blc-1110/Swiftech_KOMODO_HD7970_Full_Cover_VGA_Waterblock...

I am looking for recommendations for the waterblock for my 3930K and I would like some recommendations on radiators and pumps.

I currently have the NZXT switch 810 but I am willing to change the case if it is needed.

That is a lot to cool in that case without heavy modification I reckon. You will be looking at 2 360s minimum I reckon. The EK stuff is great stuff. I have the full nickel Supreme block and like it a lot. There is a new Supremacy which shaves a further 2 c off according to EK.
Maybe a couple of loops would serve you best for that I would run a couple of their DCP 4.0 pumps (I have one and it runs great...and quiet) and their radiators are great if you want to run lower static pressure fans for a quiet system. If you don't care about noise go for higher fin density rads and loud fans;)

you can fit 1 360 or 1 420 in the top or 1 240 or 1 280 in the botom and whit front panel off in front you can add a 280 ( i dont know if it wil work or not )
or you can mout one 360/420 on the outside back whit a mounting kit.
for the 240/280 in bottom you have to trow away the botom HDD tray to fit it.
im "moding" mine now ( over kill( in the mod/build section ) )
and for the pump i have i had to trow away all the HDD trays to get it mounted.

I would recommend a dual loop one cooling the cpu and one cooling the gpus. For that either a dual pump bayres combo or just 2 separate pumps and reservoars. For pump any DDC pump will be able to handle the flow, otherwise a D5 pump for the GPU loop. For radiators I would recommend Alphacool nexXxos as they are the best performing on the market and have a very good price with one 360 for the gpu and one 240 for the cpu or if you're able to get a third rad use that for the gpus as well. For waterblock The Swiftech Apogee HD and Alphacool nexXxos are the best performing but they don't look nice so for a great looking and performing either EKWB Supremacy or XSPC Raystorm.

With that type of cooling system (CPU & GPU x4) - might want to look into cooling the RIVE's chipset as well ...
... as long as you're doing it ... 😉

You could certainly do a dual loop - a 240 on the CPU & Chipset, & a 420 on the Quad GPUs ...
... or, a single loop with twin 360s - would consider the APOGEE Drive II on the CPU in that case.

fwiw - I don't worry much about what will fit in the case ...
... run my rads externally via the case hose grommets, w/ fans & pumps on an external PSU ...
Ambient room temp is always less than inside case temp - lets the rads work a little better ...
... cooler starting point, so to speak (& so much easier to clean).

Best of luck with it, whichever way you go - sounds like you've got the makings of quite the killer rig ...
