Hello Superhoops81
Try this....
Shut down your pc and turn the psu switch off.
Install your ram in slots A2-B2 (2nd and 4th slots from the cpu).
Press and hold the clear cmos button for 3 seconds.
Try booting up your pc.

No worries. It's a common misconception and even experienced users fall into the same trap. For future reference, it's important to remember that this is why memory vendors sell kits as a matched set. They do not test for sufficient voltage guardband or account for users combining or mixing with more memory.

You're welcome,
Great to hear it's working.
Be sure to set D.O.C.P. or set your ram manually to get it up to 6000MHz.

Hi Superhoops.
Combining and mixing memory kits isn't supported by memory or motherboard vendors. This is because memory vendors bin and validate the memory kit in the density in which it is sold. If you combine memory kits the settings in which the kit is validated for XMP/EXPO are no longer valid.

Hi apologies for not explaining the added memory is exactly the same as previously installed??

As above, combining memory kits is not supported. The kits are validated and binned by the vendors in the density in which they are sold. That means adding more modules to the system is not supported. You need to purchase a single kit validated in the density in which you wish to run.
