If that sshd is a hybrid drive I personally never used one but seen nothing but bad stuff written online about them

You weren't clear in custom or closed loop although I'd assume closed
Is it safe?
Custom loop totally depends on u and how you set it up and test it to whether its safe or not
Closed loop usually pretty safe, as long as u buy it retail and install directly as instructed companies like corsair will actually repay you for everything damaged if it were to break and leak, one guy on overclockers forum got a brand new $1200 build cause he had a defective unit that leaked
Closed loops are ment to be matinance free and built to not be taken apart so they shouldn't really leak
Closed loops that can be expanded you'd need to watch cause they shouldn't leak either they should be just as a plain closed loop but being it was ment to be able to be expanded or taken apart means you'd wanna check the joints and fill port to ensure there snugged up and not going to leak
