Welcome to ROG SKILLS, Looks like we have a keen gamer in our midst and an interesting build.

My advice at this point is take your time, and do a preliminary bench test outside your case to test your MB, PSU, Dimms, CPU and GPU single card and1 monitor.

Once you can post successfully and initial settings in Bios are established then you can assemble.

Make sure when benching to be properly grounded and your MB be on an anti-static surface.

When powering up for the first time, monitor your Qcode led for debug info.

What will you use for your OS?
Have you selected your DIMMs yet?

Good luck and please report back.;)

Are the dimms I'm getting are these good for the build?

I'll take a look at Asus 780Ti graphic cards KKN thanks man and about the sound card I probably won't end up getting it since I'm gonna be using my astro a40s headset

I also went for a different PSU COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO GOLD 1200w

if it is the swift you are thinking of ( PG278Q ) then it can only be 1 used since it have a mini display port.
and the GPU have one mini display out ( and the other is going to end up in sli ).
and personaly i dont think the formula is going to support quad sli ( no specs out as of now that i know of supports that )
take a look at the 780TI cards ( 2 slot cards not 3 slot cards ).
SSD get a 256 for OS and 512 or greater for games and a hdd for file savings.
i know you listed the raider but its sli and you may end up geting space problem for it since you are getting a sound card.
GPU's red slot and addon cards in black slots.
http://rog.asus.com/324622014/maximus-motherboards/maximus-vii-formula-chill-with-air-or-water-play-...
and the top black will get blocked by the armor ( was on last m6f too ) so if you want to place enny thing there you have to remove the armor.
try out the sound on it before geting a soundcard and see how it is.
PSU? go for a well knows brand and one that have high amps on the rails ( for VGA ) , like corsair or seasonic or other well known brands.
memory, get ONE kit ( aka the amount you want in one pack, not 2 ) mix kits and you will get trouble.
1 kit is tested so the memory moduels work together, tested and ok from factory, that way you are shure you dont get too mutch problem.
amount? 8 - 16 gig, mhz? 2133 and upwards,.
by connecting the PS4 you mean to the monitor and not to the pc?
for that you need another monitor then the one you listed, and the PS4 is caped at max 60HZ/FPS and it does not have a mini display port, so there you have to get a mini display to HDMI converter and you have to switch out each time you want to connect it to the monitor, since it only have ONE port on it and that is a mini display port.

mabye this is cheeper then the one you are looking at ( im presuming newegg prices now )
http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231677

from the speed 2133 and upward you will not notice mutch diffrence realy in real day to day use and gaming.
in rendering of movies and so on thats where you will notice the diffrence.

KKN do you know of a good OS for PC i kind of lost on that? Please let me know ASAP

w7 or 8.1 64bit version., up to you.
get a version that can handle 8+ gig.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa366778%28v=vs.85%29.aspx#physical_memory_l...
scroll a lill down and you see what w7 supports on diffrent version of it.

Hey KKN ITS SKILLZ JUST FOUND OUT THAT MAXIMUS v|| formula does have HDMI IN THE MOTHERBOARD AND IT SUPPORTS 3 way sli so I think I'll get 3 Nvidia GTX 780Ti from Asus ROG if i do that can I still fit in my RAIDR express PCIE SSD or are 2 graphic cards my limit for this motherboard and is it enough for gaming I just want to make sure I'm gonna buy most of my stuff this weekend so let me know what you think so I can get to ordering some of the things
And I'll get the windows 8.1 also thanks for the help on that
And about the Asus ROG SWIFT PG287Q were can I get the converter for it mini display port to HDMI
I'm also getting the Corsair Hydro series H105 will it fit this motherboard and do I have to buy a radiator for it help plz!!

i can not promise you will get the same speed or thing like that whit a converter.
and if you can use the monitor full out ( if you understand ).
you have the option like this -> http://www.hdmi.org/images/displayport_to_HDMI_cable.jpg
or like this -> http://dl.maclife.com/maclife_photos/0410/reviews/bott_full.jpg
thats what pics i got after a quick google search.
just google or look in the "store" you are going to use and see if they have there.

nvidia setup on 3-sli
http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/how-to-correctly-configure-geforce-gtx-680-surround#4

there is a drop down menu so you can see how it is on 2 way sli too.

the raidr will end up between 2 cards and will semi block airflow to the card ( this is between 2'nd and top card ).
unless you pull off the armor then you can have it in top slot ( black one ).

the H105 comes with brackets to fit several types of sockets, so look in manual on what you have to use for the socket you have.

ill gona see if i can find some one who can help me ansver the mini display port to hdmi and if your going to get redused speed on it or not since i have no clue on that one.
