I have two X79 RIVE boards with issues, one with IROG boot loop (I have been through all the bases and read every thread and still loops), the second one I tried auto overclocking cause I could not get my ram to run at stock speeds otherwise and VTT shorted and took out a couple components in the VTT supply circuit. Both boards are either out of warranty or bought second hand. What would I expect to pay for repairs?
x79 is old enough that I don't consider it worth professional repair. If ASUS would even still repair it I'm guessing it would be several hundred dollars.
