Onboard Intel I9 11,900k - Monitors cycle on/off repeatedly during monitor sleep.

Greetings again,

Due to ASUS NVidia RTX 3060 graphic card prices being so ridiculous right now I am forced into using the Onboard Intel UHD 750 graphics card. I have a drawing tablet hooked to the HDMI and a Dual ASUS ProArt (1920x1200) monitors are connected to the two USBC / Thunderbolt connectors via a DisplayPort cables.

The problem occurs when the monitors enter sleep mode (computer is still awake).
The signal goes dark as it should and all monitors go into sleep mode.
However they wake shortly thereafter, I see the NO SIGNAL message and they return to sleep.
They will continue to come on and turn off over and over and over.... somewhat annoyingly.
Eventually the system itself will sleep and the monitors and computer behave normally after that point.
The problem ONLY occurs on the two Thunderbolt/DisplayPort connections. The drawing tablet/screen on the HDMI is not effected and stays asleep as it should.

Power Settings put the screens into sleep mode after 15 minutes. The PC goes to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Running Windows 11, current ASUS video drivers on the website.
Just updated to the most current BIOS, no change in behavior.

I suspect this will probably go away once I am able to get an ASUS RTX 3060 or better at a reasonable price. Those bitcoin miners are really pissing me off lately. The graphics card is all I am missing for a perfect build and I love this motherboard.

Anyone got any ideas as to what is causing the monitors to wake when there is NO SIGNAL being sent?

I wonder if this might be related to USB power saving features. I would try going to the advanced power settings in Windows and make sure there isn't a suspend enabled there. You could try just changing the Windows power mode to high performance but I'm not sure if that will change USB related settings or not.

Thanks, giving that a try. Went in an turned off all power saving features regarding USB and those for the Intel Graphics.

I also have this issue, I have both HDMI and DP monitors connected (1/ea), only the DP monitor is power cycling.  Tried a few different drivers.  Intel is suggesting I replace the CPU under their warranty.  Seems a bit overkill, but I may need to go for their suggestion.
