no signal after new build

Hi, just built my first pc as im a newbie its a asus hero 2 pcb, 8gb ripjawsx ram, palut gtx 770 2gb ,i7490k ,1000w corsair psu,1tb black hard drive.
windows 8.0,No over clocking done.Has any one got any advice on why i power up and use the pc i get no signal on my tv, the pcb is showing code A0 which i belive is all ok and i can here the h/d ticking away but no picture. , im using a hdmi connection .any ideas thanks all.

Have you checked with a Monitor or only the TV, have you checked in the bios advanced settings Graphics Configuration, page 3-33 (113 of 200)
Primary Display
(Auto) will set the primary display to pci-e when a pci-e graphics card is detected
(CPU Graphics) Force primary display to CPU graphics
)PCIE) Force primary display to PCIE graphics card

Hi kaijack
Check your cable connections and try using VGA connection.
How long is your HDMI cable. Extra long HDMI cables can cause this problem to some monitors.
