I've been working on a new build for a while now and it's been nonstop headaches every step of the way. Ill try to provide as much important details as possible.
The new build consists an Z790 Apex Encore. 14900ks. Dominator Titanium 7200MT/s kit. Strix 4080 OC. LG CX as a monitor.
I purchased the Strix before this build and it saw light use for a couple months before I built this new rig and transferred it over.
I've been in the process of tuning the system for stability. I was making good progress (finally) recently and felt close to my goal. I was up late burning the midnight oil, so to speak, got tired and decided to shut the system down. There was a new gpu driver release, so updating was one of the last things I did before shutting it down. I didn't have the time to work on it for a few days. Finally get back on tonight and as soon as there's a video signal on the ROG logo screen, everything is green! I went into the bios and it's all green with pink text!
So. Here's what I've done so far:
Reseated the GPU. Booted in safe mode and used DDU to uninstall all the Nvidia drivers and clean everything up. Did a fresh install of GeForce Experience and installed the latest drivers. Made sure Windows is up to date. I tried swapping HDMI cables. Tried swapping HDMI ports on both the Gpu and the tv. I even tried swapping to another RAM kit I have, because some online results mentioned possible memory problems. But nothing has fixed this issue.
I began thinking the worst. That my nearly new GPU has somehow gone bunk. Just now, out of curiosity, I grabbed a small portable 1080p monitor and connected it to the 2nd HDMI port on the gpu, and much to my surprise (and confusion) the screen looks normal on the little monitor!
Our tv isn't showing any signs of problems with anything else. All 4 HDMI ports are occupied. I have it connected to a soundbar via eARC. Connected to a cable box, a Google Chromecast, and to the PC. Everything else looks fine. No weird colors or anything when watching tv or streaming. I even tried swapping the PC hdmi cable to the other hdmi ports, just to see if this weird green pink nonsense shows up through all the ports... And it does.
So now im not sure if this is a problem with the GPU or the TV, or still somehow isn't hardware related at all. The fact that the colors are normal on my portable monitor really has me scratching my head.
Any ideas?

I was totally freaking out about this. Thought something was wrong with either my tv or my gpu. Much to my surprise (and relief) I decided as a last ditch effort to run the hour long pixel refresh on the LG tv and that fixed it! I was shocked! I usually do the pixel refresh regularly, but hadn't run it in a while. I've never seen anything like this happen before from delaying a pixel refresh cycle for a little while. So weird. But im grateful it wasn't anything serious. At least I hope it isn't...

Hey,
Try restarting the TV. After shutting down the PC, disconnect the HDMI cable from the GPU. Turn off the TV and then unplug the power cord from the TV. Wait around 10-15 seconds. Plug in the HDMI cable to the graphical card. Plug in the power cord and then switch on the TV. Boot the computer.
I sometimes had some weird issues like this before with my monitor and this trick actually worked. No other idea comes to my mind other than if your system is overclocked and issues with stability persist.
