Try remounting the CPU. Improper DIMM detection issues can often be due to improper mounting pressure. Inspect the CPU pin-pad and socket for any debris, damage or bent pins.

Update to UEFI 3222 using USB Flashback

How to use USB Flashback

Insert one DIMM into slot A2 (repeat for both modules)

The intial process can take upward of 5 to 15 minutes, but I would draw the line at 30.

So once completed, it should not perform it again and again. Only if a change ram, which is never. This is the first system since i7 8700 from 10 years ago. A lot has changed.

Do all manufactures have this?

How long will 32gb take?

It will perform certain routines, yes. The initial process is just much longer. Yes, memory training is a necessary operation that all DDR platforms need to accomplish; only the characteristics differ from platform to platform.

The process takes as long as it takes.

So if Yellow light on first boot means "Memory Training", how do we determine if the ram is faulty. Back on motherboards years ago they had speakers. It would beep twice for ram error.

See why some go and buy pre-built, someone does all this for you.

BTW... Been over 30min and still Yellow.

At this point I'm getting concerned. Still Yellow on "Memory Training" and I still don't know if it could be the ram that's faulty. This hasn't been the best building experience this time around ASUS.

It's and from Amazon, so it's going back with the Ram and CPU, cause I have no way of knowing the real issue.
