If you are only gaming then 16gb will be sufficient. I'd say 3200mhz or higher.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

thank you very much, any opinion on MOBO selection.

I haven't tried them but either board should be fine. The crosshair is going to be better for overclocking if you have any interest. If you want to save money the TUF line should perform the same for a typical gaming use case.

HI,

Not complicate things but the AMD page for your CPU says up to 3200 MHz memory speed, so you are probably best off going with 3200 MHz speed: just for future reference, https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-7-3700x. Also, I've read that if you want to future-proof your rig you ought to go with at least 24 GB of memory, hence you'd probably be wise to go with 2 x 16 GB.

Furthermore, if you want to be sure that the ram sticks you are looking at are fine, check the QVL list, as here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-Crosshair-VIII-Hero/HelpDesk_QVL/

Good luck
