Hello all,
Finally got the case (Corsair 9000D) and put the system together and I cant get it to work.
I am hoping you have ideas on what I may have missed.
When I start the PC, I get the ROG display working and nothing else...It does not light up the Q-Code LED on the right side and I cannot start the computer with the start button so cannot access the Bios.
So I have removed everything and now only have the 2, 8 pin CPU plugged in, the ATX motherboard plugged in, the PCIe8pin plugged in. Using the Corsair HX1500i
I removed all RAM except one in A2 - Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 CUDIMM 8800mHz
Q-LEDs are not lighting
So keyboard and mouse plugged into USB on back panel and they light up.
Using the HDMI from the board, tried the GPU but it also did not work so I removed it.
Reset the CPU Intel Ultra Core 9 a few times no bent pins.
Replaced the Battery
Did a CMOS clear
Did a flash with the latest Bios version 1401.
And I still get nothing except the ROG display lighting up.
Any ideas what I am missing??
Your help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Denis

That's not indicative of the PSU being fully functional, see if you're able to power the PSU using the jumper method described on the vendor's website

You make a good point, but I don't have another PSU to test with. I have returned the board and cpu. Once I get the replacement I will try again, if I encounter the same problem it will indicate the psu is the problem and I will work on that one 🙂
Thank you again for the help

Hi @Mr_Logical
To confirm, the system does not power up at all?
Are you able to do a simple PSU test?

The PSU is working since the lights come on on the back panel, as well as the PCI8 pin, also the 5 inch ROG display. But I get nothing further. The MOBO has a QCode Led on the right, nothing appears, and the start button also does not work. On the ROG display there is no error message, on the 4 lights of the mother board RAM, VGA, CPU I get no flashing lights to indicate an error.

Hello All, Finally got the replacement MOBO and CPU!!
All is going well this time, I get the ROG display, the Q-Code works and then the system shuts down.....Again....
I needed to video the ROG Display codes as they go by too fast.
I think the problem may be with the memory.
I am using Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 CUDIMM 2 X 24 at 8800 MHZ.
CMHC48GX5M2X8800C42
Looks like it will not recognize them.
I did flash the Bios to the lasts on the Asus website version 1401.
I did a search and stupid me, this RAM is not listed.
Any ideas? Park the RAM until the Bios is updated for these?
Any thoughts?
As always your help is appreciated.
Denis

We have 1501 now did you try that? Did you do manual timings and voltages instead of xmp?

If you clear the CMOS and turn the system on, will it shut-down every time when you reach the ROG splash screen?

Just a little info for you, "I am using Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 CUDIMM 2 X 24 at 8800 MHZ.
CMHC48GX5M2X8800C42" is not on the ASUS QVL for the MB.

Hello to you,
Did you use the XMP profile to get it set up? Used the new bios 1501?
