Need Advice on PSU

As I finally graduated from grad school and got my own place, I'm starting to plan on a gaming PC for myself. This would be my first build so I don't have a lot of experience, those are what I'm planning so far:

CPU: I7 4770k
Motherboard: Maximus VI Formula (main part I'm waiting for, heard release date set to mid-July?)
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 3GB SuperClocked w/ ACX Cooler(waiting, back order anywhere...)
Memory: 4*8GB G.Skill 1866
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
HHD: Already have a 500GB 5400 HHD, will probably buy another 2/3 TB HHD
(so 1 SSD + 2 HHD)
Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60 Water Cooling
Blu-ray Drive: Asus Black 12X
Case: Phantom 820

I will only consider overclocking when it is confirmed to be stable... Also I might add few additional fans to the case

Now I have no clue about PSU tho, I've tried all power calculators on the internet but it seems none of them are up to date with those newest CPU and GPU, can anyone give me advice?

Also, since it is my first build, any advice on any parts is welcomed...
CPU: i7-4770K
Motherboard: Maximus VI Formula
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked ACX
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X 32GB
Cooling: NZXT Kraken X60
PSU: Corsair HX 850
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 512 GB
HHD: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB
Case: NZXT Phantom 820

Hey JmW408 🙂

That looks pretty good to me.....I would always recommend about 850W. With an 850 you will have the power to OC a bit if you want and even add second GPU later if you wanted. You want a power supply to run comfortably within it's limits not on the edge of them so that's my recommendation.

The RAM I would advise you to get a single kit of whatever size you want...if 32GB I would get one quad channel kit that can run as two dual channel kits.....

Thx Arne!

I found SeaSonic M12II 850 on newegg, would it be a good choice?

Very solid build that is.

PSU Seasonic gets my vote each time.

Not really familiar with PSU brands... What factor should I look for when choosing PSU?
