My new dream build could use some tips/help

Hi
First hopefully i am in the right place if not then i am sorry.

Ok so i finally managed to get me pc i allways wanted. I bought it from local store (well gave them list of things i want and told them get me that).
I didn't want to put it all together by myself cause was scared i will screw things up so i just installed Windows on it.
So far i am really happy with it but after browsing some websites to compare some benchmarks i noticed that my scores are not super high. Well i didn't
expect time taveling with it or anything else but for example i had score in unigine heaven benchmark around 1700 score with highest settings on my native resolution 3440x1440. Not sure if its a good score or not but on the scoreboards i found people with similar build in 4k had higher scores (in heaven benchmark i noticed that with g-sync off i had better score but not near other people had). Not sure if they had their rigs overclocked or not. So i thought i will check with the real bench. So i will start with the scores i got from real bench

System Score: 102495

so i compared this to the first similar build i found on the score board and the System Score was around 150000 so much higher than mine and it was on i7 7700k maximus ix formula with gtx 1070

So it would be good time to mention my build

i7 7700k
maximus ix formula
kingston hypex black 2x16 2400mhz
rog strix gtx 1080 ti

Soooo i thought that my score could be a little better? Or is it good for not overclocked pc?

That was my 1st question. Second could someone give me some tips on setting bios for maximum performance without overclocking (or should i just go with 5 way optimization)? And maybe gpu tweak tips? I am running gpu tweak and oc mode. Or just general tips. Like i said i just installed Windows on it so it's preatty much stock specs

Or if that was good score for not overclocked pc than some confirmation would be cool.
And i hope none got bored to death by my post.

5 way is the easy way but might not work for you, since auto settings generally are not optimal for your rig.
You can just manual enter value's without going deep into overclocking what it far better but takes time, patience and some reading on your part.

I don't mind reading if someone could point me the right direction. Don't want to do much overclocking at this point. Mainly i want to be sure i have set up drivers/bios and stuff the way it should be. It's been a WHILE since i last time put pc together and back then was a lot less options to switch lol. I want to know why there was such big difference in scores sinc the score i compared mine was same motherboard same processor but well mine 1080ti i think is better card than 1070. So i thought maybe i messed something up that holds my pc back not letting it work as it sopose to

Other then the actual overclock there is the silicone lottery each part is different and the actual performance might be different.
There are some guides pinned in this forum that would explain it better, i do not own any of your part so I would not be the expert for you.
But remember overclocking is save as long as you do not over do it, hardware usually resets and has build in safety's so it won't be damaged.

It's hard to say without comparing system specifications. If the other user was running an overclocked CPU, then it's normal he as a higher score than your stock CPU. Also take those scores with a bit of salt since many of the users tweak their system to get higher scores.

Thanks guys. So it's safe to say that there is nothing wrong with my score? Or at least not terribly wrong? Oh one last thing GPU Tweak can setup my 1080ti and also AI Suite 3 can if i leave it on auto in AI Suite 3 then it should use whatever setting is do from gpu tweak right? AI suite shows gpu clock at 1607MHz while gpu tweak 1627 but running uniengine heaven 4.0 shows on chart at gpu tweak that the clock goes up to 1950+ So it uses setting from gpu tweak? And if under stress it goes up to almost 2000 is there a point of overclocking it or better leave it on as it is?

I promise that would be all
