My first Gaming PC Build - Did I make the right decision buying these parts ?

HI everyone! Did I make the right decision buying these parts ?

Spec List:

Case: Corsair Obsidian 900D
CPU: Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition
Cpu Cooling: Swiftech H320 CPU Liquid Cooling Kit + 6x Noctua 120mm NF-F12 PWM 1500RPM Fans Push/Pull
Mobo: Asus Rampage IV Black Edition
Ram: Kingston 32GB (4 x 8GB) HyperX Beast DDR3 2400MHz DIMM CL11 Mfr#: KHX24C11T3K4/32X
GPU: 2x EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked w/ EVGA ACX Cooler
PSU: Corsair AX1200i
Storage1: Samsung SSD 840 Evo 250 GB for OS
Storage2: Samsung SSD 840 Evo 500 GB for games and sofwares
Storage3: WD Green, SATA 6G, 3 TB for Buckup

In the near future I'll want to install full water cooling setup for the cpu, mobo and gpu's.

Let's hope that your answers will be positive, otherwise i will have to hang myself:p

The G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-19200CL10Q-32GBZHD is faster and costs only $13 more than the kit you listed.

Getting a single Samsung 840 EVO 750GB is $66 cheaper than getting two separate drives. But with your big budget, I'd just get the 1TB version and never look back. Getting smaller drives and dividing them for usage is a hassle.

Thank you Chino for your answer but the package was already dispatch to me with kingston ram and SSD drives, so is already to late for any changes with this order.
It is a very BIG difference between G.SKILL and KINGSTON?

orly? I saved over 100 bucks buying a kit and I have a Laing D5 pump and XSPC's best rad... Threw the tube out immediately and used only two of the compressions where I can't see them. Still saved money! :confused:

Also when people say "The normal WD" they mean the blue one which is good for general use.

The Black one is their enterprise grade drive it has better MTBF (Mean time before failure), has slightly different bearings and runs cooler.. It's made to stay on 24/7...

The Reds are notched right under the blacks and above a blue but they are made for RAID (You can raid blacks too) and before someone tells me stupid crap about that's marketing you should know that RAID will TIMEOUT if you use a crappy slow drive with it and you risk breaking the array.

If you are going with the RIVBE you are better off with an IVY-E cpu because that's what the board was designed to run, it will run SANDY-E but not as well and not without some issue's. I have seen lots of people upset because they thought they were upgrading from the rive and found they cant get their rig stable at the same settings on the rivbe board. Since this is your first build you should think about this, issues or a perfectly running machine...
Also make sure your memory is on the QVL list for the motherboard you chose, again if you want a smooth problem free build you will do what I said. I don't know about those cpu coolers, I have always built my own custom loops. If you do go with a custom loop buy Ek water cooling simply the best on the market.

aka ivy-e = 4xxx series cpu's
if you want closed loop cooler go so, its easy to instal.
personaly i recommend first time builders not to do custom watercooling my self.
closed loop coolers ( depends on the makers ) have warranty on their coolers so in case leakage they will replace it ( i hope ) just look in their faq or warranty on their home pages.

I have never had a leaky EK water block and over the years I have had many, those proprietary cpu coolers are junk, who cares about warranty if you are water cooling you are after performance, nothing can even come close to a custom loop.

true, but menny first timers dont always know the risk and the price they take.

At this moment I don't have money for custom loop so i have to stay with closed one. By the way my memory is on MOBO QVL List.

Closed water cooling loop for your cpu is fine. Even if you liquid cooled your graphics cards you wouldn't get any more performance as you cannot adjust the voltage on them without some kind of a bios mod, and even then I'm not sure you would be able to. NVidia has locked the voltage on the kepler cards.
