Nah, I'm guessing you have an Ivy or a Sandy with your current mobo? (socket 1155). These processors are rock solid and if you make the jump to the 1150 socket you'll still have a 22nm processor (Haswell).

Wait until Intel comes out with there 14nm chips, I believe sometime late next year....

Depends what your current system clocks like. There are gains to be had with the new technology but if you want it and can afford it then just get it. I love the Haswell platforms.
