Maximus X Hero (WiFi)- Update BIOS

Khory

I have a new board coming for my 8600k build. Should I update the BIOS straight away? I’ve read some things about voltages that concern me. I want to get everything running stable for a week or three before I delve into an OC.*

I would say yes on a platform this new, 0802 works fine on my system

Sounds good. Any preferred method on these? The board has bios flashback from that dedicated port whuch I've never used. Is it any better/worse than flashing from the bios menu?

Flashback method is mainly for reverting to previous/older bios. It's always best to update through the bios.

I used to use prefer flashback lately I use ezflash in the UEFI, doesn't make any difference, after the flash it may take 2 to 3 reboots to complete, do not interrupt the flash and following reboots
