Maximum X Hero question

Hi, I am buying the Maximus X Hero MOBO. I have 2 questions:

1. The 2 USB ports on the MOBO Keybot port & USB Flashback port, can they be used as normal USB ports for peripherals? If not, what do they do exactly?

2. What is a Hyper M.2 x4 PCI Expansion card? What does it do, speed up the HDD?

1) Yes, they can be used as conventional USB 2.0 ports

2) It is as described, an expansion card that lets you install an M.2 drive into a PCIE slot. No performance benefit.
