M11A iGPU

Greetings.

Recently I bought brand new Maximus XI Apex for my friend's setup, and found out that it does not support any iGPU features. (there are VGA drivers in download page, which is quite confusing)
Since Intel's iGPU is quite useful for video encoding, we were planing to use it for acceleration.

Is there any chance to enable iGPU support with BIOS update or it's disabled on hardware level?

There is no vrm on the motherboard to power the iGPU so it would be impossible to use the integrated graphics with the M11A.

So there are 16 phases around the socket and none of them go to iGPU?

That is correct. There are 8 phases with 16 PowerIRstages all for the cpu. That is why there are no video outputs on the motherboard. Asus is using the controller in an 8+0 configuration.

See this video for in depth explanation of the M11A VRM.
