Hi Everyone, I have a Maximus VII Formula mb and would like to add a M.2 drive in one of the empty lanes, can anyone give me some addvice on what would be best. I was hoping to use it to boot from instead of my SSD.

You wont be able to boot from it on that MOBO.

Well thats blown that plan, so all I can do is use it for storage. Would you mind explaining why I cannot boot from it.
