Laptop Asus G75VW & Monitor PG348 Compatibility?

Using Windows 10 and the monitor only displays about 80% of the screen. When I go into Display Settings-Display Resolution the highest offered is 1920x1080 Recommended.

Hi Bob,

This forum is not an official support forum so it's mostly up to what other users may know. I would double check that you have the most recent graphics driver from the support page for your machine and I would also try another cable. Sometimes if you have an older HDMI cable that can limit the bandwidth and hence the resolution you can achieve.

I know you may already know this but just in case, be aware that if you have Windows set to clone the external display with your internal display they will both be limited to the resolution of your laptop. If you set Windows to Extend the display you should be able to set them independently.

The other thing you could try is creating a custom resolution. You should be able to find information about this on Google.

Have you tried downloading Nvidia Control panel and setting up multiple displays from there? Sounds to me like you are screen mirroring which will use the lower resolution.
