I have been struggling with getting the above combination to work. I have spent days scouring the boards and searching for a solution to get this combo to start after spending hours with Asus tech support they have no answers. I have tried two motherboard and two new processors and still the same results. The machine receives power on startup, the yellow QLED goes on checks the ram then the red QLED goes on and checks the cpu and then it abruptly dies. No matter what components i use. or swap out it always behaves the same way.
Has anyone been able to get this combo to work??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @GreekGeek61
Could you clarify what you mean by abruptly dies? The training procedure can take upward of 15 minutes to complete (DRAM Yellow Q-LED).

However, it sounds like the issue is outside the scope of that article. I would take a video of the behaviour and upload here. You can use services like Upload Video Online - Free Video Hosting - Streamable
Are you able to test using an alternative PSU?

Yes i have tried a couple of PSU's a Thermaltake 1200 and a Thermaltake 1350 . Does the Dram Yellow Q-LED light need to be on? I would think so.. However with a single 32 Gig Corsair DDR5 6000mhz chip it does it in about 10 to 15 seconds and then moves on the the RED Q-LED and once that goes off it is supposed to move to the VGA White Q-LED and finally boot Green Q-LED. it does not get there. the power goes off and the PSU is shut down. So I wouldn't think that it is still training.. I may be wrong. i will post a video. I have 2 identical units that i need to build. So i have 2 mother boards 2 processors 8 Ram Chips and I also bought 4 additional ram chips on t he recommendation of Tech support. Regardless of the combination used with any of these components the behavior is identical. I don't know if its something stupid that i am missing or i am not aware of. In my 42 years in IT i have built hundreds of machines and i have never experienced this before. All machines we build are high end. Mostly intel. However we do build quite a few AMD's. We have a machine with the ProArt MB X870E and a 9550X processor that runs flawlessly we wanted to step up to the 9950X3D and this is where it all started.. In my opinion the mb does not support this CPU. If so, I would love to know how someone did it.. because following all the docs and using the specified components, as well as working with tech support, does not seem to work.
I will try and get a video uploaded:
Thank you for the response and trying to help Thank you!!!! ...

I am too using Asus Proart X870E Creator Wifi with AMD 9950X3D CPU and be quiet! Light Loop 360mm AIO as cooling.
Try with one dimm only on A2 slot. Oh, clear CMOS first. There is a button to clear CMOS (beside release CMOS battery)

The Pro-Art certainly does support that CPU.
You'd be correct, the system will remain on during training. Depending on the platform, there may be some power cycles, but the system will never simply shut off and then not turn back on again, which indicates an issue.
Try updating the UEFI using USB Flashback

Check the led. Mine will be yellow light on "DRAM", when having 2 dimms inserted on A2 and B2 slot, and failed to POST. What yours (before the PC died)? CPU? DRAM? VGA? BOOT?
