Is my motherboard going with my graphics card

HI ALL

i just done a new build using a
ASUS MAXIMUS V1 HERO,
I7 PROCESSOR,
XFX R7950 AMD GRAPHICS CARD
2 TERRA BITE HARD DRIVE
NOCTUA NH-D14 DUAL RADIATOR & FAN
2X G.SKILL 8GB MEMORY STICKS
ITS OK BUT I,M NOT SURE ON THE SET UPS TO DO TO IT FOR GAMING THE PROBLEM I HAVE SINCE TURNING IT ON
WHEN I LOAD THE GRAPHICS CATALYST CONTROL CENTER IT KEEPS SAYING THE INF FILE IS MISSING AND JUST CLOSES
SO IM NOT SURE IF THE GRAPHIC CARD IS WORKING PROPERLY.
AND ROG GAMERFIRST 2 WONT LOAD EITHER IT 'S SAYING I AM MISSING A cFOS DO I HAVE TO BUY THIS PROGRAM COS EVERY TIME I GO INTO IT , IT KEEPS TELLING ME I HAVE TO BUY IT !!!! CONFUSED .COM!!!!
I FOLLOWED THE BUILD VIDEO ON U TUBE THAT ASUS GUYS PUT UP TO BUILD MY PC BUT I NOTICED IN A PART OF THE VID JJ SEZS YOU HAVE TO GO INTO BOIS TO BRING SOME THING UP I'M CONFUSED ON WOTT HE MENT ON THAT BIT I'VE KEEP WATCHING BUT NOT SURE.
I WOULD BE MOST GREAT FUL FOR ANY FEED BACK ON THESE ISSUE THANK YOU VERY MUCH (YEH I'M NOOB BUILDER

Any graphics card will work with any motherboard, they don't have to 'match' in any way. Just make sure you UNINSTALL your old hardware and drivers first (you can do this from "Add/Delete Programs" in the Control Panel), then reboot your system and install the driver package for your new graphics card (which you can download from AMD's website)

Twiggie could you please not use CAPS that is considered shouting in forums.

You can use any VGA any single graphic card will work on any motherboard - newer cards and newer boards of course. Not talking old style PCIE cards of about 5 years or more ago.
